This festival is huge, drawing over seventy-five thousand attendees throughout the weekend, so you’ll see everyone from the little ones to the young at heart enjoying the festivities. The Sweet Auburn Music Fest goes down on Saturday, September 26, 2026, starting bright and early at 11:00 AM. It’s held at Walden Middle School, located at 320 Irwin Street Northeast in Atlanta. The best part? Admission is absolutely free, and you don’t even need tickets. They just use emails for giveaways during and after the event, so you can just show up and enjoy.
Since a ton of people come out for this, they highly recommend taking MARTA. You can hop on the North line to the Peachtree Center Station, then catch the Atlanta Streetcar at the Peachtree Center stop. Get off at the Dobbs Plaza stop, which is right under the bridge. From there, just walk north from either Fort Street or Bell Street, and you’re there! It’s super easy and convenient.
