In-person class: The Art of Sushi Making (Atlanta)

Hey, Homegirls! Are you ready to level up your kitchen skills and totally wow your people? Get ready to roll up your sleeves and learn the art of sushi making with Chef Hiroki. This class is all about getting hands-on and really digging into the process, so you’ll walk away feeling confident and ready to impress.

You’ll get all the insider tips and tricks, from making that perfect sushi rice to picking out the freshest ingredients. Then, it’s time to master the art of rolling. This class is super casual and easy to follow, so you won’t feel overwhelmed. You’ll be making three different rolls: a spicy tuna roll, a California roll, and a jalapeno salmon roll. Get ready for an experience that’s gonna engage all your senses, from the smells to the tastes.

This class is perfect for so many occasions. If you’re looking for a fun family activity, a cool team-building event, or a unique romantic date night, this is it. Imagine surprising your partner with your newfound sushi skills! Just remember, while it’s open to adults 18 and over, if you have a young chef in training who’s 14 to 17, they’ll need a parent or guardian with them to join in the fun and ensure everyone has a safe and enriching time.

And guess what? It’s BYOB! So grab your favorite sake, wine, or beer to sip on while you create and then pair it with your delicious, handmade meal. You’ll be working together with your booking party, sharing ingredients and equipment, which totally adds to the communal vibe. Good news for those with sensitivities, this class is nut free, gluten free, egg free, dairy free, and shellfish free. Just a heads-up though, they can’t accommodate other dietary requests for public events.

The class kicks off on November 3, 2026, at 6:30 PM, over at Just Love Coffee Cafe, specifically the Atlanta Perimeter location at 1110 Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs. You’ll want to get there about 15 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to find parking and get checked in. Ticket prices vary, so be sure to check those details when you book. You’ll get a confirmation email from hello@cocusocial.com, so if you don’t see it within 24 hours of booking, just reach out to them. Get ready to roll!
