Alright, homegirls, get ready because Pastor Troy is hitting Center Stage for a Pep Rally that you absolutely do not want to miss. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 29, 2026, because this Atlanta legend is bringing that classic Dirty South energy right to our backyard at 8:00 PM.
If you know anything about Southern hip-hop, you know Pastor Troy. Born Micah LeVar Troy, this Augusta native, who grew up right here in College Park, exploded onto the scene with his aggressive style and raw storytelling. He is a founding member of the hardcore rap group D.S.G.B., the Down South Georgia Boys, and he is known for those sincere, self-aware lyrics that hit different. His debut album, “We Ready (I Declare War),” really put him on the map, and his track “Are We Cuttin'” even landed on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, his album “Universal Soldier” became a national hit, so you know he is bringing the heat. He has even collaborated with big names like Lil Jon and Ludacris, and his music was featured in the movie xXx. This man is a certified ATL legend, and he has even received an award to prove it.
Now, let’s talk about the venue. Center Stage is a true Atlanta institution, nestled right in Midtown at 1374 West Peachtree Street. This place has been a cornerstone of our city’s entertainment scene for decades, originally opening its doors way back in 1966 as Theatre Atlanta. It was built as a memorial to Helen Lee Cartledge, honoring her legacy in the performing arts. Since then, it has evolved into a premier music venue, and it is known for its incredible acoustics and that intimate vibe that makes every show feel special.
Center Stage is more than just one room, it is actually a three-venue complex that includes The Loft and Vinyl, but the main Center Stage Theater is where the magic happens for big shows like this. Over the years, this iconic spot has hosted everyone from wrestling events and television productions to a long list of music legends, including Sir Elton John, who even recorded an album there. You know if artists like Kanye West, Drake, and The Weeknd have graced its stage, then it is the perfect spot to catch Pastor Troy.
So, gather your crew and get ready to rally with Pastor Troy. This is going to be a night of pure Atlanta hip-hop, celebrating one of our own in a venue that is just as legendary. You already know it is going to be a good time, so do not sleep on getting your tickets for this one.
