Alright, listen up, homegirl, because I’ve got the lowdown on an event you absolutely cannot miss if you’re into tech, good vibes, and all things Atlanta. Get ready for the Render ATL Conference hitting our city on August 12, 2026. This ain’t your grandma’s stuffy tech conference, honey. Render ATL is known for blending world-class engineering education with the energy of a full-blown festival and that undeniable Southern hospitality we all love. It’s a community-first event, created to be a safe and inclusive space for everyone to dive into the latest tech trends.

This powerhouse event was founded in 2019 by our very own engineer and entrepreneur, Justin E. Samuels, who also happens to be a Senior Software Engineer at Intuit Mailchimp. He and his dedicated team of volunteers bring this whole experience to life, making sure it’s a place where dynamic voices and overlooked talents in the tech world get their well-deserved spotlight. What started out as a React-focused gathering has seriously blown up, now covering everything from software engineering and design to leadership, culture, and innovation. And for 2026, get ready to deep dive because Artificial Intelligence is the key focus, baby.

Render ATL isn’t just about the talks and workshops, though they’ve got plenty of those from industry leaders. This conference is a whole experience! Imagine keynote speakers, panel discussions, and hands-on sessions all mixed with music and networking events that feel more like a party. Past editions have even featured rap performances and rooms decked out with graffiti, proving that tech can absolutely be colorful and dynamic. They even had a carnival theme in 2025, turning the AmericasMart into a playground for ideas. Plus, for 2026, your ticket now includes access to RenderFEST, an outdoor block party to kick off opening night with local food and music.

This event has been growing like crazy since its first official conference in 2021, which saw about 350 attendees. Fast forward to 2024, and over 4500 people were sliding through downtown Atlanta. In 2025, they had 8,000 badge holders and 15,000 participants across Atlanta Tech Week, which Render ATL anchors. For 2026, they’re expecting over 8,000 attendees, 150+ speakers, and more than 70 sponsors, bringing together builders from all over the world. It’s no wonder this conference has generated over $55 million in local economic impact, solidifying Atlanta’s spot as a major tech hub. If you’re looking to level up your skills, expand your network, and just have a genuinely great time, you know where to be.
