This isn’t just any event, it’s a whole cultural production happening at The MURPH, located at 561 West Whitehall Street Southwest in Atlanta. We’re talking a full-on celebration of plant-based food, killer vintage style, and all things sustainable, creative, and wellness-focused. It’s all about living intentionally, honey.
This immersive experience is designed for folks who don’t just follow trends, they set them. Vintage Meets Vegan beautifully bridges the gap between what we wear and what we eat, connecting two worlds that really do share the same values: sustainable fashion and plant-based wellness. Rooted in purpose, culture, and individuality, this event invites you to explore how the choices we make in our closets and kitchens are powerful acts of self-expression and sustainability. This isn’t just about what’s on your plate or in your wardrobe, it’s about transforming your lifestyle from the inside out.
As we move into a new season, it’s the perfect time to slow down, take inventory, and declutter our spaces. That’s why Vintage Meets Vegan features a fantastic clothing swap. It’s a strict one-for-one exchange, designed to help us let go of what no longer serves us and keep high-quality fashion in conscious circulation. To ensure a premium, organized shopping experience, participation is capped at a 10-item maximum per person. When you claim your Free Clothing Swap Add-On at checkout, you’ll select your estimated tier, either a Light Swapper (bringing 1 to 5 items) or a Heavy Swapper (bringing 6 to 10 items).
Now, to maintain that high-end experience, they only accept items you would proudly gift to a good friend. You’ll even get a follow-up email later to confirm your participation and request more details on the items you’re bringing. They’re looking for clean contemporary wear, gently used vintage, upcycled pieces, ethical and slow-fashion brands, shoes, bags, and quality accessories. Please, no items with stains, holes, odors, pet hair, pilling, or broken zippers. Fast-fashion items showing heavy wear or damage will be rejected at the intake table. The best part? Any remaining clothing from the swap will be donated to local organizations supporting unsheltered individuals. How amazing is that?
Vintage Meets Vegan is more than just a traditional vendor market. It’s intentionally designed to uplift underrepresented entrepreneurs and community-based brands, especially Black, women, and LGBTQ-owned businesses. This event functions as a cultural and educational experience centered around sustainability, style, creativity, environmental awareness, and community connection. You can expect curated vintage and sustainable fashion vendors, delicious plant-based food and beverage experiences, immersive workshops and community education sessions, and even a sustainable fashion presentation, which sounds like a whole runway moment. There will also be wellness and lifestyle vendors, and of course, those clothing swap and redistribution efforts. You’ll have tons of opportunities to learn about environmental impact, conscious consumption, and sustainable living practices.
Just a heads-up, all materials, outlines, marketing assets, and communications related to this event must be 100 percent human-related. This means vendors need to use human-authored graphics, photography, and text for all their digital promotions and physical booth displays, including signage, flyers, backdrops, and social media posts. The organizers are serious about this and reserve the right to audit promotional materials, so any non-compliant displays will need to be removed immediately.
